The Plan For What Might Get Done This Week

Let see one of the plans is to get rid of most of the cars that are here at Norton Tuning. the next plan for this week is to fix a nissan altima that has a problem and the car wont start. another project is to start working on dave's old rx7 and get that thing up and moving again and out of here. but the main 2 is we have to motor swaps to do. one is on daves integra cause his piston rings are going out and smokes alot and the other project is to get the green machines motor out of it to tear apart. other then that its just whatever shows up and or just little things like put a front lip back on oil changes or cleaning up the place but other then that thats the plan for the week or at least what i can think of right now its to late or should i say early

The Green Machine V.S. The Black Doom ....

My friend Hak has a green DA GS-R (1990-1993 Acura Integra GS-R), and we were going to go out to Oakland to check out a couple of spots to see who's out. on the freeway, Hak raced Dave's black rx7. while they were racing, something happened to the green machine and started to make a lot of noises. well, he decides to drive it back home and the noise just got worse and worse. He made it almost to Norton Tuning. the car just dies like 6 blocks away, so he made a phone call and we all show up and start to push the car to Norton Tuning and park it and called it a night. a few days later we start working. tearing about the car just to see what happens and get it ready to pull the motor. he starts to take out the spark plugs and they all looked fine till he got to the last plug. when the last plug got pulled out and when you look it looks like some one smashed the spark plug a couple of times. at this point we are just waiting to take the motor out and disassemble it and find out what is really broken and see how much damage it has done and see if we can repair it. well thats all for the green machine for now it will be back for vengeance again. thats all for now ill keep you posted on how it goes and hopefully i can get some pictures up soon.

Apologize For The Delay

Sorry about my non posting if anyone really reads this. i am on vacation from school and i have been running around and haven't really had time to do anything online related but now its time to do a little catch up on what happened at Norton Tuning.

R.I.P. Honda Civic R.I.P Mazda Rx7

Well this weekend was kinda a bad weekend that just past earlier that day we where at Norton tuning and we installed a different exhaust on the red beast to test out. That night we went out and meet up at our usual spot. we all chilled for a while and chat. then we all went out to a spot to test our cars out and race. we were all having fun and testing out who's car is faster and just messing around. we where out there for about an hour and the cops showed up so we all scattered. everyone went one way or the other it was like the fast and the furious. well some people ended up going the wrong way to avoid the cops and one person was flying away from the cop and did not relize that there was a dead end ahead with people down there. when he relized that was the end of the road other cars at the end he slamed on his brakes. when he slamed on his brakes he started to slide and could not control it and ended up sliding in to our buddies honda civic at like 40+ mph and sent the civic in to a spin. after the accident our friend that drove the mazda jumped out and checked on the civic and see if he was alright and he was freaking out. the cops where already there and seen our friend that drives the mazda and put him in cuffs and threw him on the ground on his stomach. i guess cause the cop thought he was about to run or something. our buddie that was driving the honda and the mazda ended up getting taken to the hospital. honda got hit so hard that stuff flew out of his trunk and landed like 20ft away from where he was and the mazda ended up in the fence. when they got taken to the hospital they were of the one that was driving the honda had a bump on the back of his head and a messed up back but he's ok. the one that drives the mazda is ok to he just has a couple of scratches on his face from glass and sore but other then that they are both ok. well its hella hella late and im hella tired so ill post more later

The 4th Of July

The night before the 4th was kinda interesting. What i had plan didn't work out cause my dumb ass wanted to fall asleep. So when i finally decided to wake up i drove back to the bay area and meet up with the rest of the gang at Norton tuning. so time went by and later on that night we went out to go race some people and just hang out. when we raced a couple of people we where talking about going to go get food for the bbq for the 4th. so we all drove to food max (take it to the max lol.) after we went and got stuff for the bbq.

Later on that day on the 4th, i started to set up for the bbq at norton tuning and just chilled till more people started to show up and we just chilled. when more people started to show up. we started the grill. we all just chilled hung out ate and everything. later on that day Brandon and I went to the bank to go get some money for fireworks. Brandon let me drive his car so we where headed back and i floored it thru 1st & 2nd gears not even realizing that there were cops behind me till after. so i ended up getting pulled over right in front of Norton tuning where the bbq was and were everyone was and everybody started laughing and i was like shit o well. i ended up getting a ticket going 55 in a 30 so we will see how much it will be when i get it in the mail.

after that little incident we ate some more food and more people showed up and it was starting to get dark so you can hear fireworks going off so we decided to get ours going. my buddies started to light off some that they had made and more and more went off. everybody was just haveing a good time lighting fireworks off and eating. sooner or later there was a cop that drove down our street and stoped in front of norton tuning then drove off. we all just stood there thinking like what the hell. after that 2 of my buddies went to go light off some fireworks and when they light them and started to walk away two undercover cops popped out the bushes across the street from my house and everyone was like what the hell. when that happened a couple of my buddies that took off earlier ended up throwing a smoke bomb at the cops and they ended up getting a ticket. within that night i think there was a total of 4 tickets from just Norton tuning alone then my neighbor across the street ended up getting one to cause they got caught lighting off fireworks to. later on that night we ended up wanting to go out and light the rest of the fireworks where no cops where around and we went to a spot that we usualy go race at and light off fireworks with all of our friend. it was great everyone was full having fun got to see fireworks and everything it was hella fun. that is what norton did for the 4th of july.

The Black Beast

Well my Buddie Dave has a turbo 2 rx7 that he built. Took him two years to finally get the car running and off the ground. one night he brought the car out and we were cruising around town then his car wanted to break on him. the apex seal broke and wedged it self to the waste gate, so his car was running off of one rotor and the waste gate was stuck wide open. well he took the car home that night and waited till he got his other rx7 running. when he got the other rx7 running (the other one was at norton tuning) he brought the turbo 2 to norton tuning. a couple of weeks later the motor was finally pulled out and set aside to wait for the engine to get rebuilt. The New Beast

Well previously my good buddies Dave had a RX7 that was the fastest n/a that i have seen in the bay area and that car lasted for so long and one day it finally gave in and the car ended up getting stored at my house for the next person that wants to build it again but later on down the line he ended getting another rx7 almost the same just new kinda well at least new to him. well when he got the car for stupid crazily cheap cause suppose the motor was blown we took it to a shop and worked on it and got it running that same night well that car ended up lasting for a while. well one day the car wanted to be retarded and overheat so he brought it over to Norton Tuning and we worked on it and tried a couple of things and concluded that it has to be rebuilt cause coolant was leaking in to the wrong place and i needed to rebuild my motor cause my cars seals where leaking and it was all bad when i drove ( sir smoke a lot and i mean a lot lol) so we both decided that we will knock out 3 motors in one day cause we had a spare parts car with a semi good motor in it so we could send it out with the other 2 to go get rebuilt and have one for spare parts that might be salvageable so one weekend we did that and we started with his motor and that worked out great and we took out the blown motor out of his other car the one that decided to stop working and we took one out of the parts car so that means mine is still running and smoking still so we ended up getting all 3 out befor midnight and we were all burnt out so then that same night we had the engine builder come get the motors and we just waited till it was done


like 3 weeks later one motor is done and we put it in to daves new car and it took a little of time to get that one working but by the end of the day we ended up getting his car all back together and there was a lot of tweaks that we have to do now before it was finally out but that same night it was all done and it was late but the car was finally done and now theres another beast about to come up from the grave muahhahaha.

my secret weapon lol

This is actually a while ago but im still posting it so one day i decided to buy nitrous for my car so i can actually beat people and i was debating on what should i get nitrous or turbo and the conclusion ended up being nitrous cause all my friends said its cheap and easy so i thought so i wanted to be cheap and get the NOS Sniper Kit and well it was a pain in the ass for me cause there was so much you had to do just to get it to work. I finally get it and i am looking at it and i was like shit so i waited for a while before i decided to put it in my car so one day i do decided to put it in and i started to work on it and my buddies helped me do my fuel lines for it and hook it up to one of my solenoids and of course i was being lazy so thats all that happen for a while. So i ended up pushing it back for like 2 months and thats the only thing that is done and one day i decided to stop lagging and get it done ( so i thought ) so i ended up putting my nitrous solenoid in and run the lines for the solenoids and hook it in to the intake and run the line for the bottle. Well i finally get that done after like 1 hour and then all i had to do was wire it and put the jets and fill the bottle and then i was done but that didn't happen for the longest time maybe a month and a half past and finally i decided again i will do the wiring so i spent like another hour on wiring it and make it look pretty and stuff like that and finally again i am done with that . And now thats as far as i got lol and not the only thing i have left is fill my tank and put my jets in and i wanna tune it before i go after people but im almost done lets see how bad i lag now

Recent Project Done Finally

well this happened a while ago and now its finally done my buddies Brandon has a RX7 turbo and one day his exhaust gasket decides to take a shit on him so then he went home to try to work on it when he was working on the car the exhaust stud wants to take a crap and break on him so now he cant really do anything much besides some how pull it out and replace it so he tried a couple of things and it didn't really work out for him so he brought the car to Norton tuning and we tried a couple of things and that didn't work so we decided to take his motor out and send it out to get the studs pulled out and replaced (by the way there was 2 studs not one ) so we ended up pulling out the motor in a day and then it just sat there for like a month before we got some one to take out and replace them then one weekend that just passed recently finally the motors in and the cars finally running with a couple of minor problems but its running. well he decided to park the car there for the last night so he can tweak with it to make it run right so the next day he busted ass and fixed every little thing with the car like the vacuum leak and wire up new gauges and just little stuff then night rolls around and the beast starts up and rolls out Brandon and i went for a ride and said that his cars not boosting right so we go for a little drive and i mess with his boost controller and i was like turn the knob like 2 big turns and like try that he floors it and it hits fuel cut and we hella started to laugh and said wow way to high lol so we turned it down and well the rest is done and kinda boring so thats it for the red beast i will get some pics up soon...

The Start Of Norton Tuning

Well how Norton tuning started was my friend mace called my house a shop then he ended up making a name after my street lol and it just kinda stuck we always worked on cars there but never really thought any thing about it it just ended up happing that way after but its fun tho

what we mainly mess with is Mazda RX7's and Honda's and its kinda fun its more of a place for all my friends to hang out since every where else we go we end up getting kick out of by the cops and it sucks cause there excuse is we are loitering so one day finally people called me about using my spot to work on cars and i was like sure come thru then more and more came and it just became the spot for us at least and now we work on cars every weekend and have a place to hang out.

now we work on projects and whatever comes round or we just hang out and kick it we are all there for each other one persons car breaks down it comes to norton tuning and gets running again or some one has little work it comes thru and all of us look out for each other and im kinda glad my parents arnt flipping out yet lol but thats how norton tunning started
